Refusal of unauthorized email collection
Article 50-2 of the Information and Communications Network Act (Prohibition of unauthorized collection of e-mail addresses, etc.)
No one may collect e-mail addresses using a program or other technical device that automatically collects e-mail addresses from an Internet homepage that clearly indicates a refusal to collect e-mail addresses.
No person shall sell or distribute e-mail addresses collected in violation of the provisions of Paragraph 1.
Anyone who knows that an e-mail address is prohibited from collection, sale, and distribution under the provisions of Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2 shall not use it to transmit information.
